The use of Nylon films continues to grow - to improve barrier and puncture resistance among other features - on the variety of packaging options available today.

PE.PET.OPA

Now Plastics offers BOPA films produced by all variations of production methods:

  • Linear Simultaneous (LISIM) – Tenter frame, best of all features, state of art technology, great cross-web profile and no curvature issues. Used for high speed printing
  • Extrusion – Tenter frame
  • Sequential – Tenter frame, good cross-web profile, better economics, lower cost.
  • Simultaneous – Superior cross-web profile, less curvature, balanced properties.
  • Blown double bubble – balanced properties; gauge profile varies.
